Marc works and lives in southeast Cornwall with his wife and family.

Having completed an honours degree in Zoology at Nottingham
University he moved into a career as a graphic designer. After many successful years in commercial graphics an opportunity occurred to
work on various natural history projects, initially in design, but finally
into his passion for wildlife illustration.

Coming from a scientific and commercial graphics background his work
is varied. Using various mediums; pencil, pen and ink, watercolour,
computer graphics or combinations of these mediums; his style is
realistic but with an eye for its overall graphical composition. This often
lends itself to publications but due to demand he has started to produce
more artistic pieces which work on many different levels, creating
graphic shapes and movements from a distance whilst containing
intricate detail on closer examination, but its inspiration is always from nature.
